New site for UNA-Spain
| February 2, 2020
The United Nations Association of Spain is a Human-Rights-focused NGO, that serves as the official main link between the UN and civil society in Spain. Besides, it acts as the focal point of the United Nations Regional Information Centre. It has consultative status to the Economic and Social Council and it has been declared a public utility entity. In today’s world, an entity’s website is one of their most important showcases to advertise their work. UNA-Spain knew that it was very important to completely rebuild their website to give it a more modern and contemporary feel that reflects the energy of the Organization. I created a custom WordPress theme called ‘United’ that matches the renovated brand of UNA-Spain, which I have also adjusted. It was a great opportunity to simplify, make information clearer, and create a well-integrated system that would also allow them to be autonomous in managing their website. The site also relies on several custom plugins that add additional features to WordPress.
