UN75 campaign in Spain

| September 18, 2020

In 2020, the United Nations reached 75 years since its foundation. To mark this anniversary, the UN launched a global conversation about the climate crisis, longstanding conflicts, violence, political tensions, social unrest, and more. The UN75 campaign was launched to illustrate this milestone, and over a million people and thousands of organisations took part. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, and the United Nations Association of Spain were two of the institutions that participated in the UN75 initiative. The illustration represents the headquarters of the United Nations, designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, next to the East River in New York City. These mugs and folders were commissioned to be gifted to the attendees of their respective UN75 events.
